Description
This is Contemporary Records C3505, Hampton Hawes Vol. 1 The Trio, a yellow, deep groove labeled original mono issue of this classic session featuring Red Mitchell. The record is in VG+(+) showing some light marks, and playing with occasional background crackle. The laminated cover has some shelf wear and a small cut on the back. The label on side 2 shows some tape residue and a small tear (sorry -not pictured). This would make a fine initial "play" grade copy of this rare original. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be listing over the next few months. Please check our other listings.
