MG 12023 A and MG 12023 B, RVG, X20, ETCHED IN THE DEAD WAX. Original Savoy Red and Silver logo on label, Deep Groove. This is the genuine article. 100% AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL SAVOY FIRST PRESSING.

*Because our clients are mostly jazz collectors and connoisseurs, as we are, we made it our policy to only sell vinyl that we grade in VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) condition or better. This vinyl is in our opinion a VG+, looks and plays great.

Record Grade VG+ = Very well maintained. The vinyl is in beautiful condition. Just listened to both sides of the whole album and it plays beautiful, such a great record. Minor surface scratches that do not effect the music. Amazing condition and quality. Shiny vinyl. Difficult to find this rare vintage record in such great condition. (see pictures) 

Jacket Grade VG+ = Shiny, clean, well maintained. No staining. We grade the jacket a VG++. No tape, no stains, no writing. This record is from our personal collection. No major defects at all, just normal corner use wear. A very clean jacket for a 59 year old album. (see pictures)

Henry "Hank" Jones (July 31, 1918 – May 16, 2010) was an American jazz pianist, bandleader, arranger, and composer. Critics and musicians described Jones as eloquent, lyrical, and impeccable.

Jones recorded more than 60 albums under his own name, and countless others as a sideman, including celebrated album Somethin' Else. On May 19, 1962, he played piano as actress Marilyn Monroe sang her famous "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" song to then U.S. President John F. Kennedy.
