The Allmusic review by Steve Leggett awarded the album 4.5 stars, stating: "Mobley might not have been out there pushing the envelope with his instrument, but here he plays with confidence and lyrical economy, making this easily one of his best outings.

.   Vinyl - Ex Clean but has small marks on both sides.     Jacket - Has Seam splits on 2 sides and shelf wear.      Inner Sleeve - Very clean company sleeve.
  The records are not play-graded.  They are graded visually according to the following standards:  Mint: Still sealed. NM: Record should look virtually unplayed, shiny, glossy, no visible marks. EX: Record may have a few minor marks or scratches but none that break the surface of the vinyl. VG: Record will have some scratches and/or noticeable marks. It should hopefully play through without much background noise. G: It should play through without skipping but have some background noise.Rough: We will only list the rarest records in this condition.   We do not grade album jackets but only comment on them.
