 This Hank Mobley album is part of a reissue series being handled by Music Matters, ltd.  Every album in this series is remastered from the original master tapes recorded by Rudy Van Gelder for Blue Note. All of the newly remastered recordings are then pressed into 45rmp, 12" 180 gram virgin vinyl. All of you Audiophile afficianados out there know that 45RPM alows the the needle to ride deeper in the groove, and gives more room in the groove for the tiny burs which make the sound come from the vinyl. This series of records offers top of the line sound, unsurpassed by any other recordings.
 
In addition to remastering the music, Music Matters, ltd was given access to the original photo negatives of each session at Van Gelder's studio. Each record is packaged in a heavy card-stock, gate fold jacket featuring 5 never before seen photos from each session.

Being a record collector and Jazz lover it is tough for me to part with these gems. Each one of these records has been released in a limited edition. I am a subscriber, and recieve ltd eddition number 0314 each time there is a new release. Unfortunately I can no longer afford to pay for them, and I've got some bills to pay up, so I've got to part with a few of the ones in my collection. Enjoy!!

Because I am reluctant to use a "mint" condition rating I am rating this album NM, but there is virtually nothing wrong with either the albums or the jacket. They both look just like they did the day I opened them.
