Description
Hank Mobley No Room For Squares stereo Blue Note 84149 solid blue with black label and "Van Gelder"
Hank Mobley (ts), Donald Byrd, Lee Morgan (t), Andrew Hill, Herbie Hancock (p), John Ore, Butch Warren (b), Philly Joe Jones (d) Recorded 1963
Solid blue with black label and VAN GELDER STEREO on both sides. "43 West 61" address on back.
The record looks Vg+ to VG++ and plays VG++. Both sides have some light scuffing which is not into the grooves. No scratches. Two tiny press bumps on Side 1 which do not affect play. Grooves do not show wear or damage and do not look heavily played.
The cover is VG+.
The front and back covers have moderate to heavy wear and ring wear. The corners have spots of heavy wear and are dented, the bottom of the spine being the worst. The top seam is split app 3 inches in the middle and is not taped. Both seams have moderate wear. Spine is intact and readable with some wear at the bottom..
Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.
I WILL NOT END AUCTIONS EARLY. PLEASE DO NOT ASK.
My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
