Description

This is the 2010 OOP Music Matters Jazz reissue of Hank Mobley Quintet 2x45 New And Sealed originally released by Blue Note Records in 1957.  This is one of those 50s Blue Note titles that an original is both difficult to find and crazy expensive.  This one certainly isn't an OG, but the Music Matters 45s represent the apex of the Blue Note releases - featuring all analogue cuts by Kevin Gray directly from the Mater Tapes at 45rpm and with newly scanned covers and additional session photos scanned directly from Francis Wolffs's negatives.
