Description
This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Hank Mobley “Quintet” on the New York 23 labels of Blue Note BLP 1550. Flat rim.
NOTE: VG/VG+ grading is for overall condition. Track one has a light scratch with audible tick on the second half of the song. Please contact for a FLAC audio file to hear it before bidding.
First press Number 248 (see back cover photo).
There is some marking on the surface from the original wax paper inner sleeve that does not effect play.
The laminated West 63rd St. cover is clean throughout, with normal age toning on the back.
Personnel include Art Farmer, Horace Silver, Doug Watkins, and Art Blakey "The Jazz Messengers".
