Description

This is a lightly played original and rare US mono pressing of Hank Mobley - Roll Call - with Freddie Hubbard, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers and Art Blakely. Released in 1961.  This is not a reissue. 

BLP 4058

47 West 63rd on labels and 43 West 61st on jacket.
RVG with the EAR in dead wax on both sides.

Vinyl:  EX
Jacket:  Very nice looking.  What the photos can't show is a light abrasion on the lower and top left  corners, no splits scraps or tears.  Very solid and crisp laminated jacket. No splits,minimal wear, slight aging 

Vinyl Grading:

Mint:  Sealed or without evidenced of play

NM:  Not mint, no surface wear other than faintest of sleeve marks.  Typical of a one or two play record. Like new gloss typical of one or two plays. 

EX+  -  Minor visible surface wear consistent with a well cared for record. Deep gloss, typical of very light play.

EX     -  Some slight signs of wear, including light sleeve marks or a very few light surface hairlines.  No scratches. Excellent gloss, typical of light play.

VG+  -  Scattered hairlines or very light scratches, background noise possible. Excellent gloss typical of light to medium play.

I'll be shipping in a new LP mailer with extra cardboard, appropriate padding for the thickness of the record and packed tight on the interior.  The vinyl will be outside the sleeve and inside a new audiophile approved outer sleeve.

Look for my other items from this same collection this week.  They are all as outstanding as this one.

I grade records visually.  I no longer have a vinyl rig so I do not pay them before hand. If it is from my original collection and I have played it before, I will note my recollections.
