Please read carefully, as I have tried my best to give a faithful and accurate representation of this rare record.
I am selling my personal collection. This is a first pressing with Lexington address, frame cover, ear, RVG. The vinyl has marks, some of them deep/easy to see.
On side one, you hear ticks/soft pops in some places, but they do not contend with the sound quality of this record. This side MIGHT have the beginnings of some groove wear, but it might also just be the very hot sound of the two trumpet players playing together, which is just generally very loud. I found it ultimately enjoyable and not a significant issue.
Side 2 has more of the repeated ticks or soft pops than side 1, again not contending very hard with the music, but less of the possible groove wear (the trumpets aren’t as loud on these tunes which is why I think that may be the culprit).
It’s a great sounding Blue Note through and through, just an LP that is VG or possibly VG- depending on how you see it. I do NOT currently have the capability to record audio clips for you.
The cover is generally good but you can see water staining on the back and a price sticker. There is a portion of wear on one edge - see photos.
