Description

This is the original deep groove (Side 1) Van Gelder-stamped “P”-pressing of Hank Mobley “The Turnaround” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BST 84186.  Other than three light inaudible hairline scuffs, the playing surface is in beautiful condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The coated New York 23 cover is also in extraordinary condition – bright and clean throughout – with just ¼” wear on the top seam, at the opening, and a ½” ding at the lower left corner.  Blue Note inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Freddie Hubbard, Barry Harris, Paul Chambers, and Billy Higgins.  $100.00
