Description

FREE RECORD INCLUDED !---Hank Williams Sterling 78 rpm record, # 210. I bought this record about two years ago for $115, and I’m starting the bidding off at a reasonable $75. On the Honky Tonkin' side it looks like the label got worn off because the needle wasn't lifted up when the record ended. However, it does NOT affect the recording itself. I have only played both sides twice since I bought it, and there is no skipping. The edges are smooth; there is no chipping at all. There is some slight popping that doesn’t last very long near the end of “Pan American”; and very little hiss for a record this old. The sound quality of this record is outstanding.  These Sterling records go for hundreds of dollars in better condition; however if your more concerned about sound quality rather than appearance this is the record for you. I hate to sell it, but I’m trying to raise money to go to Montgomery next month for the annual birthday bash at the Hank Williams Museum.  ATTENTION:  Included in this auction will be one of the guitar picks I used at Hanks' grave during my last trip to Montgomery in September, 2007.  ATTENTION: I am also includeing a free record that the Drifting Cowboys recorded in the late Seventies. The jacket is in less than good condition; but the record itself plays and sounds very good. It is SIGNED by Jerry Rivers and Bob McNett. To see more about me please click on the "about me" link after my seller name.  Please see my other listings; and my future Hank auctions.  THIS ITEM WILL BE PACKED IN POPCORN AND BOXED VERY CAREFULLY.
