You are bidding on the rare 10'' LP:
Hank Williams sings, released by MGM Records (M-G-M E107) in 1952. Original Pressing!! (see photo of original yellow label).
*You're looking at the original pressing of the first Hank Williams release on the LP format, released when the legend was still alive! Now, please read the details on the record's condition below. I don't know about you, but I don't mind listening to Hank accompanied by surface noise. In many ways, it's actually quite nice & fitting. I figured I'd let this conditional gem go from my collection. I'll be a happy man, as long as I got my Hank 78's. The songs are listed on the cover, including such chillin' classics as "Lost Highway", "Six More Miles" and "Mansion on the Hill.*
The thick, deep-groove Vinyl is play-graded in G+/G condition. Significant surface noise is heard throughout the listen, but the music still does play with a full sound, and the record is most certainly still enjoyable. The surface noise is more substantial on the B-side than the A-side, hence the G+/G grade. Visually, when looked at under a bright light, the record does not look pretty at all, showing many many surface scratches. Please keep in mind that this record could easily be visually-graded in "poor" condition, but it has been properly play-graded in G+/G condition.
The Cover is graded in G+ condition. The bottom seam is fully split. The top seam is split about half-way across. This shows substantial ring & edge wear. Despite all of these defects, it still has maintained its original beauty.
Shipping is calculated by ebay at the actual cost for you, the consumer. I don't charge any extra fees for material or handling.
For combined shipping, please add $1 for each additional LP you purchase. If you buy many records from me, I can ship them all together in one box, and charge you the actual cost I pay at the post office. International customers, please keep in mind that once you reach 4 pounds (roughly 4 LPs+), 1st Class International is no longer a shipping option, and you must ship Priority or Express.
Insurance is your option as a buyer. International customers, please keep in mind that you can only insure your item if you ship Express, which can be very expensive. Please contact me if you would prefer this option.
