Description

Full-length LP from Jackie McLean titled "A Fickle Sonance" released by Blue Note (BLP 4089) in 1962. Original U.S. MONO pressing. Quintet outing led by Jackie McLean on alto sax with six hard bop jams recorded by Rudy Van Gelder. Great line-up with Jackie, Tommy Turrentine on trumpet, Sonny Clark on piano, Butch Warren on bass and Billy Higgins on drums. These recordings would precede McLean's shift into the avant garde.

Vinyl record is in VERY GOOD condition with decent luster, some sleeve spots/stains and a few surface scuffs (no gouges). Record plays with very noticeable surface crackle at beginning of sides that quiets down as record plays on with some stray clicks and pops...still very enjoyable listening experience. Cover is in EXCELLENT condition with wear at corners, a small nick on left side of bottom edge (otherwise edges are clean), some moderate surface wear and there is a 3.98 price mark at top left corner of backside. Generic replacement white paper inner sleeve.

Winner pays $6.25 media mail in the U.S. Priority mail and insurance are available at buyers expense.
Multiple wins save on shipping costs (add 50 cents shipping for each additional record or disc in the U.S. only). Payment must be sent within 10 days after auction has ended.
