Folkways 2953, “Anthology of American Folk Music, Volume Three” compiled by Harry Smith, from 1952.  This is the first boxed set (not the very original 78-style gatefold LP release, but the one just after that from the 1950s).  Heavy vinyl is mostly glossy and free of marks and plays at VG+ with light static between tracks.  The original 78 RPM recordings from which these were taken do, of course, often have quite a bit of static.  The box is in excellent condition with essentially wear-free corners.  The box hinge is broken, as it so often is on this set.  There is a bit of paper loss on the lower spine (see scan), and the spine has age toning.  Songs are “Coo Coo Bird” (Clarence Ashley), “East Virginia” (Buell Kazee), “Minglewood Blues” (Cannon’s Jug Stompers), “One Morning in May” (Didier Herbert), “James Alley” (Richard Brown), “Sugar Baby” (Dock Boggs), “I Wish I Was a Mole in the Ground” (Bascom Lamar Lunsford), “Mountaineer’s Courtship” (Mr. & Mrs. Stoneman), “Merchants’ Daughter” (Stoneman Family), “Bob Lee Junior” (Memphis Jug Band), “Single Girl” (Carter Family), “Le Vieux Soulard” (C. For overseas shipments, registered mail is strongly recommended at $12.00 extra. Many old records are practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the records inside an inner sleeve but outside the box; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window.  Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
