The Dunster Dunces - The Dunces Speak... with a Harvard Accent

(Soundcraft Records SLP 1001) A great rare piece of Harvard University history - this is a rare 20 track vintage  private pressing album of humourous songs by 9-piece group of Harvard Dunster House students dating from the mid-1960s. "The Dunces Speak..." was only the Dunces' singers third release and very few examples of this record have survived the last 45+ years in nice condition. The sleeve boasts the humurous message - “Recorded dead at Cambridge City Morgue”!

The album has been fully signed by all the students involved- Dave Brown, Ned Cabot, Duncan Calder, Bob Dolgoff, Randy Collins, Pete Hunsberger, John Barr, Joe Shepherd and Fred Daum.

Songs include Tears, Mary, Shadrach, Hugh’s Blues, Cool Mover, The Drainpipe song, Ride The Chariot, Jingle Bells, I Like Sex and Scholar’s Lament.

Record and sleeve are in excellent condition.
