Description
This is a Hasil Adkins Cassette 110 Minute Tape. Hasil wrote on the Cassettes "Hasil Playing Piano and Phone Call Check Out"
Side A: Hasil Talking and Playing Piano and a Little Singing. He asks the lady in the room, "How many roaches go into your cooking." He goofs around and accuses the lady of cooking with roaches. Pretty funny. Hasil talks about food and asks the lady how long she's been playing piano with the wooden cover down? It's just Hasil being Hasil and joking around.
Side B: The beginning of Side B has distorted sounds like outer space. Then, Hasil messes around trying to record a phone call. Hasil then is riding in a car with a lady and some kids. He tries to trick them into singing into the tape recorder and talking. It sounds like they are running Hillbilly errands in West Virginia. Hasil talks about Betty Crocker and Sandford and Son. Hasil sings part of "Great Balls of Fire." Hasil says, "I can eat about 3 dozen eggs." It's really funny and fun to listen to Hasil talking and goofing around. There is no writing on the B Side of the tape.
I bought this tape from Hasil's sister, Irene, after Hasil's passing.
