Description

This is a Cassette Tape of Hasil Akdins Playing and Recording at Home along with some songs from live shows and some stuff that sounds like it was in a studio kind of a mix he labeled "New Rease Tape."  Some of this stuff has been released and some is unreleased.  It's a 120 minute tape with songs on both sides but there is blank space at the end of each side.  Hasil's writing is on one side of the tape, on the box, and he wrote his name on the card inside the box.

Some songs are on here twice, for some reason, and there are different versions of the same song.  Some of the stuff is on Evening Shadow Road.  Some is unreleased home recordings, studio with other musician recordings, and live shows.  There is a sweet Johnny Cash medley with  I Walk the Line and Folsom Prison Blues and Great Balls of Fire.

This tape has little bits with Hasil talking, funny remarks from people around him, Hasil pretending to play a guitar solo by singing, & Hasil singing like a girl.  Some of the songs are really long.
