Description
This is a Cassette Tape of Hasil Akdins in the studio. Hasil wrote on the Cassette, "Master H. Cut in Miss(issippi)." Hasil's writing is on one side of the tape. No Box, but I'll throw in a box where Hasil has written his name twice (not photographed). This has to be the Fat Possum session. Many of the songs on this tape appear on What the Hell Was I Thinking? Beautiful Hills, Stay With Me, No Shoes, Talkin' to My Lord, Gone, Gone, Gone, Your Memories, Your Gonna Miss Me, Somehow You'll Find Your Way. There are some songs that, I'm pretty sure, are unreleased - one is about the 4th of July (boogie). One song that I've never heard before talks about burning up his girlfriends stuff...Hasil lists all the stuff he's going to burn. Both of these songs are pretty funny. Other songs: Who Took Your Clothes Off, My Special One, Things Movin' Way Too Fast For Me, Madison Blues, Pickin' Flowers for You, If It Hadn't Been For Jesus and some unreleased (?) songs: Goin' to New Orleans, Money, Money, Money. There are some other songs I don't know and, I think, are unreleased. One is about drinking vodka and coming out of a blackout to find all his stuff out in the yard. In the song Hasil says it took him four days to get his stuff back in the house. This is a really great tape with both sides full of songs.
