Have you Met Inez Jones? Featuring Oscar Moore (Riverside RLP 12 819) Here is a rare original pressing of one of the very few recorded dates from San Francisco jazz vocalist Inez Jones. The tunes are jazz standards mostly, but the vocals bring them to life with a smokey mid-century cool, further elevated by a fantastic all-star rhythm section with Oscar Moore on guitar, Carl Perkins on piano, and Curtis Counce on bass. The legendary Oscar Moore was an integral part of the Nat Cole Trio when they were mostly a small jazz combo. Jazz pianist Carl Perkins is incredible on any of the few recordings he is heard on and among my favorite jazz pianists.
Record grade: VG- Nice glossy play copy, with some scratches that are audible here and there.
Cover notes: Beautiful laminated glossy, heavy cardboard jacket. Some corner wear as shown, but with tight seams all around with very little edge wear.

G (Good): The record will have heavy wear, with very apparent surface and background noise. A plus or minus may be given, if notable.

Shipping: All records will be shipped in a sturdy, reinforced cardboard box mailer, with record and cover protected in plastic sleeve. Standard shipping will be via USPS media mail, at cost of $4.00. Priority mail also available, at cost of $10.00. Save on combined shipping when additional records are purchased. For additional records, $1.00 will be added to initial shipping cost.
