Description

I have up for auction a record (78) on a light green and red Aku Records picture label with caricature of the artist! It is #202 by Alfred Apaka, Vocals with The Moana Serenaders, background harmony and excellent Hawaiian Steel. Selections are entitled "Kona Wind" and "Mauna Loa". The record is in very good plus to excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still fairly shiny and clean.

 Bidders NOTE: Correction, the cartoon caricature is of Aku, who was actually a radio announcer at the time in Hawaii; real name, Hal Lewis. He also played violin on Alfred Apaka's recordings.
