Super-clean, Full Gloss Vinyl is very close to new with only  amere touch of faintest sleeve marks viewed under hard bright light. Labels are extremely clean both sides.

NEAR PERFECT Original gatefold (textured) LP from the legendary GABBY PAHINUI.
The all-time premier - and most revered - Hawaiian SLACK KEY guitarist.

This copy was a gift to the original owner (Lance Holst) several decades back from his long-time family friend WITT SHINGLE, co-producer of this album and co-founder of Panini Records.
The very early, rarely seen PANINI PRODUCTION label is from the nascent 1st years of Panini, when they were still experimenting with label design, like several other Panini releases of 1971 - 1973 that received custom labels, before they settled on the more familiar 'flower and clouds' Panini Records label. ...indeed the label design here is a 12"  LP version of the label used on their earliest (1972) 45rpm 7" singles. This is the only PANINI LP that I've ever seen to bear this label design. 2 other labels, far more commonly seen, were also used.
All Earliest PANINI releases labels stated "PANINI PRODUCTION" rather than the more well-known PANINI RECORDS name.

The album features Gabby's close friends, fellow Slack-Key guitarist ATTA ISAACS and bassist JOE GANG as well as being the earliest appearances from Gabby's very talented sons: Cyril, Martin and Bla Pahinui.

Perhaps Ehe earliest - certainly the Rarest issue of this LP.
This one is in superb condition and was a personal gift from Witt Shingle.
