Description
This is a complete set of the original inserts from the rare 1972 'Revelations - Glastonbury Fayre' triple LP. The original album contained 3 LPs in a fold out sleeve (same format as the sleeve for Hawkwind's 'Space Ritual') plus four separate inserts, all housed in an outer printed polythene bag. - All designed by the late, great Barney Bubbles.
These are the four original inserts. Usually this rare LP turns up (when it does turn up) with one or all of the inserts missing. In this case, I have the inserts but not the rest of the album!
The four inserts are as follows:
1. A 32 page picture / test booklet - In perfect mint / as new condition except for some very minor staining from the staples. No rips, tears, creases, writing or wear of any kind. A superb item!
2. The fold-out, double sided 'dome' insert. - This is a bit damaged to the edges with some staining but is still in at least 'very good' condition considering its age and fragility.
3. The fold-out glossy black and silver 'pyramid' insert - This is perfect except for a small amount of light wear and is in at least 'excellent-plus' condition.
4. The fold-out poster / programme insert with photos of the bands and recording information etc. - In perfect mint / as new condition except for a tiny amount of light staining.
These remarkable things are 35 years old and just don't turn up!
IMPORTANT NOTE!!!!! - Postage and packing is additional to the final auction price. A guide to postage charges is included below. PLEASE do not pay me before I have sent you an invoice with the total price including postage and insurance (where necessary). Thanks!
