Description
Hawkwind First LP Liberty LBS83348 Gatefold Marvellous Condition.
The black label version of the Hawkwind debut. The album originally came in a gatefold sleeve with blue labels but the repress came with the same gatefold sleeve but the labels changed to black with two different label designs - 0n the A side one credited D.Brock after each song title the other crediting D.Brock once underneath the track listing (this is the version being sold here - see photo). The matrix and runout numbers are as follows:
Matrix/runout: LBS 88348 A-2U Matrix/runout: LBS 88348 B-2U
The vinyl looks to be unplayed and still has a lovely sheen whilst the cardboard cover is bright, crisp and unfaded - it is in really excellent condition - no rips, tears or creases and the spine has aged brilliantly as it is the part of the cover which wears most in my experience but here it is still fine (see the 3 attached photos). It comes with the original Liberty dust cover (see photo)
