Hawkwind ORIG OZ LP Quark strangeness and charm EX ’77 Charisma Space rock
Original OZ LP released in 1977 on Charisma Records. Cat: 9124012. Hot on the heels of two decidedly un-Hawkwind-y singles; following in the footsteps, too, of the defiantly transitory Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music album, Quark Strangeness and Charm was the first full flowering of Hawkwind's newly honed drive towards brittle pop, sharp wit, and crystal-clear intent attributes that, if they'd ever existed in the past, had been entirely overwhelmed by the sheer grandeur of the space rock rocket blast.
Tracks : Spirit of the age/ Damnation alley/ Fable of a failed race/ Quark strangeness and charm/ Hassan I sahba/ The forge of vulcan/ Days of the underground/ Iron dream. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Gloss cover has light ringwear and is in Excellent condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
