Description
At 35" x 19.5," it's a magnificant example of early seventies Hawkwind 'spacey' art - with the 'Art Deco/Art Nouveau' feel that was so typical of the time!
I believe it was included with the Space Ritual double LP (or was something to do with the Space Ritual concert) - at some time in the past it wasn folded, (but has spent far more time rolled.) It has a purple United Artists UA logo printed near the bottom without a 'R' for Registered Trademark - which from what I've read, dates it to 1973, rather than 1974. The printer's mark on the bottom reads "Printed In England. Ballantine Advertising Ltd"
It's had one careful owner (me) since 1973 when it briefly adorned the wall of a rented flat (held up using an early type of blue-tak as the Landlord had a 'no tape, no pins rule') It went missing when I moved - to be recently rediscovered in a roll of old posters and other large drawings discovered when clearing out my parents loft!
It's in remarkably good condition for a used poster of this vintage. It hasn't faded, although the glossy paper is a little aged-stained (which shows more on the plain reverse than on the front.) There are blue-tak marks on the back corners. The corners and edges have minor signs of wear (slight crumpling - no tears or holes.
It's certainly in a condition that easily good enough to warrant mounting and framing - which would also protected it from future wear and tear.
It will be sent carefully wrapped and inside a stout card transit tube.

Items paid for by cheque, or direct bank transfer are shipped after clearance of funds (usually 3-5 days). P&P charges include a small amount for the cost of packaging materials. Items are carefully packaged so they will arrive with you undamaged.
Items for UK destinations are sent by recorded delivery or parcel post, (depends on the weight). Both allow lost packages to be traced and include insurance up to £27.
