Original UK Liberty/United Artists labels of the 1st press.

The album was released in May 1973 and recorded during their 1972 tour to promote the 'Doremi' album, which comprises the bulk of this set. In addition there are new tracks ("Born To Go", "Upside Down" and "Orgone Accumulator") and the songs are interspersed by electronic and spoken pieces, making this one continuous performance recorded in Liverpool & London in December 1972. The sleeve and artwork are by Barney Bubbles, who with Robert Calvert helped design the original album concept of starfarers travelling through the galaxy.

This is the original press with the Liberty-United Artists label credits, the yellow inners and the earliest A-2U, B-2U matrices!   The matt foldout poster sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some corner/edge wear and some light storage rubbing/fading on the outer folds of the cover. The inner leaves of the poster cover are intact and in EX condition. The spine is intact & fully readable and the two yellow inners are intact, but they have been carefully repaired and are in VG+ condition.   The records are in visually in VG+ to EX condition, with a few faint sleeve removal hairlines/scuffs and one or two needle marks visible on sides 1 & 2 & a few faint sleeve removal hairlines and a couple of needle marks, with some light bag scuffing on sides 3 & 4. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX, clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise during the run in grooves and briefly in a couple of the quieter or spoken word passages. Overall, still a really loud and clear listen which plays really well.   The matrix nos. are; UAD 60037, A-2U mother stamper 2-OH, B-2U mother stamper 1-OP, UAD 60038, A-2U mother stamper 1-GO, B-2U mother stamper 1-O. This is one of the early pressings of the original 1973 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
