Pressing: 1st Pressing originally released on double vinyl and it came with a fold out sleeve and picture inner sleeves (The original 1st Pressed U.K release can be identified with the words "A PRODUCT OF LIBERTY-UNITED ARTISTS RECORDS LTD" at the end of the labels copyright notice. Future pressings had the wording changed to "A PRODUCT OF UNITED ARTISTS RECORDS LTD" and later as "MANUFACTURED IN THE UK BY EMI RECORDS LIMITED". This pressing also has the A-2U and B-2U matrix numbers which also indicates a first pressing.

Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Excellent (Extremely sharp and clear sound, not much noticeable audible crackle at all throughout the tracks, quiet and not much noticeable background noise in between tracks, reasonably quiet on the run ins and run offs, no skips, no jumps, no sticking, no serious loud pops or clicks. If there are any pops/clicks they are very rare and barely audible. Excellent sound quality (Playtested 1st August 2008)

Vinyl Visual Grade Disc 1: Excellent (less than a two or three handfuls or so of very light superficial hairline marks over both sides of the record, these do not affect playback in any way, there is not a deep raised scratch in sight of any significance, the record is clean, there may be some additional tiny hairlines and a few paper scuffs/traces from the inner sleeve under bright light, looks to have been played only on occasion by looking at the spindle marks and it has been looked after and cared for very well, labels are very nice with no rips/tears to the label, there is no serious wear around the spindle holes, no pen marks or writing on the label, nice sheen to the record, overall a nice copy visually)

Album Cover Grade: Excellent Minus (no major creasing to the front corners, no major creasing to the rear corners, there is no spine or far edge splitting, there is some noticeable spine and edge wear/rubbing, slight corner rubbing,  there are no major rip/tears in the sleeve, some ringwear on the front and back that is noticeable, there is no pen marks/writing on the sleeve, the sleeve is reasonably clean and suffers only from moderate discolouration/staining etc, the sleeve just has general storage wear/rubbing, comes with original inner sleeves also, overall an OKsleeve)

All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 12 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I will not be offering any classical records for sale though. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so. MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
