Description
DESCRIPTION: Hawkwind- X In Search Of Space LP. 1st UK pressing with A1U/B2U matrix, foldout gimmix sleeve and logbook. Its a great LP and this is a very decent copy. I have many more Hawkwind LPs to list over the next few days. Packed this weighs just over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. Postage cost includes tracking and a box/cruciform mailer. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: United Artists UAG2902 . YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/VG+. Vinyl is really clean with a nice dark sheen. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Plays EX and better. Music is clean, loud and clear throughout. Cover is also in nice clean shape. Retains an excellent box-shape with a sharp fully legible spine. It is firm and square with less than light edge wear, light corner wear and minimal creasing. There are no rips or tears to the securing flap on the cover but there is a small area of cellotape residue on the actual flap and the slot that it inserts into to close the gimmix cover. Its EX without the residue, still a strong VG+ with it. The Logbook is complete, fully intact with original staples and in very good condition. It has cellotape residue to the edges of front and rear pages. Really clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER HAWKWIND/ PROGRESSIVE/ METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £20 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR OR AIRSURE TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
