Description
My best friends dad was Hayden Thompson. Early Sun Records rockabilly artist. Hayden passed away back at the end of December. His son tasked me with selling some of his personal collection including his own recordings on acetate, test pressings, and records. I will be auctioning off a variety of records over the next few weeks.
Up for auction is an acetate test pressing of a variety of Elvis and other rockabilly tracks. The acetate contains That's All Right Mama, Blue Moon, Kansas City, My Baby Left Me, Lawdy Miss Clawdy, Mystery Train, Your Right, I'm Gone. The tracks were recorded in Chicago at Chicago Stereo Mastering Inc. Hayden did several recording sessions in the late 60's/early 70's that covered Elvis. Not 100% sure which session this came out of. The disc is VG+ to VG++. Plays great.
