Haydn Cello Concerto Du Pre Original Aust HMV OASD 2331
Jacqueline Du Pre with the English Chamber Orchestra conducted by Daniel Barenboim performs the “Cello Concertos” of Haydn and Boccherini. An original Australian Stereo pressing on the HMV Label (OASD 2331), the labels are cream with plum lettering, gold stereophonic flash and border, and a small fan shaped dog. The label on side one has a “sample record” sticker. The record is of immaculate appearance, and plays and sounds superb with some surface noise - this seems to mostly disappear after the first few playings. The cover has a slight ring.
