"In an all-out effort to reach the people who seem to be searching for better things, and looking for a better way to live in our fast-moving society, we seem to come up against the fact that man in his environment is not satisfied in his heart and soul. We see the young people running to and fro in a seemingly desperate movement to find something to satisfy and fill the emptiness deep in their hearts and minds. We see the multitudes who are grasping for the truth to take the place of the unfaithfulness and mistrust that lingers in the shadows of our sin-darkened world.

But in spite of all the misunderstandings and mistrust of the people, one for another, there is still a ray of hope. When the wandering eyes of a searching man or woman scan the pages of God’s Eternal Word to find that there is a Light that still shines in the darkness and shadows of every person that has been born into the world. This Light drives out misunderstanding, hatred, bitterness, strife, and fear that man will always have to walk in darkness. The Light that every man or woman needs is the Lord Jesus Christ.

In preaching to different congregations of people, in different denominational churches and groups, we see the needs of all people are basically the same everywhere we go. This brings the final analysis to a point, and the point is that the people need to come together in the peace and joy of the Spirit of God.

I was walking through the living room of my home when the words of the title song of this record album started coming to my mind. It is really the message that I have been preaching to the people and my own testimony of what Jesus is to me. I sincerely hope that in some way this work for the Lord will bless the hearts of each person, Saint or Sinner, who hears our first recorded album, ‘HE WAS MORE THAN A MAN.’
