We provide high-resolution, fully detailed photographs showing all angles and aspects of the records we sell - this is done because grading is a subjective matter and so allows the buyer to make up their own mind on the visual grading and can then bid accordingly - please make use of the zoom feature provided to see a magnified view. With our vinyl team members all being from musical and audio backgrounds, what we are most interested in is the quality of sound we achieve through the treatment process we place our records under, hence a play grade only.
Play Grade: EX (clear and precise audio with light-medium background noise and numerous pops)
About vinyl-house-uk
We are a group of genuine music enthusiasts specialising in progressive rock, jazz, folk & classical. When you buy from vinyl-house-uk you are buying from people who care about the music as much as we know you, the listener does. We are committed to providing the best service we can. We actively search across the world to find the finest records spanning all genres with our goal being to provide our customers with rare and desirable new musical titles everyday
Our records are play-graded on a Roksan TMS 3 Turntable with Artemiz tone-arm. We use a Dr Feickert tracking scale which allows us to get a tracking position within 1mm of accuracy. We use a variety of different cartridges for various genres including; Decca Blue & Golds for Classical, Ortofon MC2000's & Van Den Hul Colibris for Jazz and Denon 103's for Rock.
Cleaning / Postage & Packaging / Shipping
Every record we send out is fully cleaned, first using a carbon brush to remove any dust, then with the flagship VPI Typhoon record cleaner using a four-step process consisting of an active enzyme cleaner, premixed vinyl cleaner, ultra-pure water rinse solution and finishing with a high resolution rinse. This process gets down deeper into the grooves and removes contaminants unlike anything else. The improvement in the sound is startling.
It is then placed in a brand new liner (the original liner is always included if present) and packaged in a record mailer (including stiffeners) with the vinyl placed in a separate sleeve, it is then encased in the highest quality plastic outer sleeve to keep it as clean as possible. We aim to despatch within 2 working days. We keep our shipping prices as low as possible and always combine the cost of sending on multiple purchases.
