Bernice Hatchett and the Bluegrass Mountain Boys – “Big Black Wheels” b/w “He’s Coming Home From Vietnam” (Jalyn 322). Great 1967 bluegrass cut on the small Dayton, Ohio based label. This is a Rite Private Pressing. “Big Black Wheels is a classic bluegrass mid-tempo cut with solid instrumental work, while the flip is a Vietnam War related cut and in typical bluegrass style “his mother has a purple heart and a memory of her son.” Take a listen to a little of each side. Record is in strong VG+ condition. Postage will be paid by purchaser.
