Description

Hear 1968 Wendell Austin and the Country Swings Anti-Drug Related 45 (LSD)

Wendell Austin and the Country Swings – “L S D” b/w “Two Beers to Go’ (Wreck Records 2.) Great Novelty country tune about the dangers of LSD by this Maine artist is a country swing classic and about as hard to find as real “Owsley” was at the time. Flip is a good honky-tonk cut that reminds me somewhat of a Hank Thompson sound. Take a listen to each side. Vinyl is in M- condition, but there is a sticker and pucker where another sticker used to be on one side and a tear and sticker remainder on the other side. Still, where do you find any copies? I’ll call it VG+ condition.
