Description
Willie Kendrick – “Change Your Ways” b/w “What’s That iOn Your Finger” (RCA 9212). Willie Kendrick was one of Detroit's much loved male solo singers in the mid 1960s. He had first recorded "Let Me Know" for Checker in early 1963. Later that year, Ed Wingate, owner of Golden World Records, took him to Mirasound, in New York City, to record "Stop This Train". After Willie's recording for Golden World, there was a lull of about two and a half years before he was picked up by Jack Ashford who recorded several classic tracks on him at Pied Piper Productions. This wonderful song, "Change Your Ways" was one of these, which came out on RCA and was a huge smash at Blackpool Mecca in 1972. Record is a dj copy in strong VG+ to M- condition (has a small number sticker on flip label). Postage will be paid by purchaser.
