Heart Attack – God Is Dead -Ultra RARE punk 7" single
Damaged Goods – DGR 001 – 1981 – 7?
Up for the auction is the Ultra RARE punk 7": Heart Attack "God Is Dead" original pressing on Damaged Goods records DGR-001, 1981. I don't need to tell you how rare this one is!
God is Dead was the first 7? by this New York HC act. Some of the members were quite young as well. It featured a teenage Jesse Malin. In was pressed in 300 copies and is hard to find in good condition and the inserts are often gone. It was sold out in a couple of weeks after pressing.
The original release came in a fold out sleeve with the dust sleeve stapled to it.
Also, in this version, the inserts have an extra page; a flier (with the date and location cut off).
Original staples on insert are still intact.
This record has "Michael" written on the cover. This was hand written by Jesse and given to Michael Alago.(Who booked the Ritz club in NYC at the time). Michael Alago later worked at Elektra Records and is famous for signing Metallica.
Matrix are 100-A-PRI MASTERDISK for the side A.(100-B-PRI-side B)
The vinyl is in mint shape.
