Heather Jones - Mae'r Olwyn Yn Troi
Sain 1008 M
UK 1973
Superb UK original of this great folk rock album. This would probably be hyped as Acid Folk by some dealers but what we have is really pretty good music, great folk music with full band backing, some tracks could be called slightly psychedelic. Click the player above to hear the whole album recorded directly from this LP. Features in Hans Pokora's 4001 Record Collector Dreams with 2 discs on the rarity scale.
Laminated single sleeve is in great condition. Some minor laminate crease to front and extreme minor sticker residue. Rear looks nice.
Vinyl looks lovely, it has seen minimal useage. Plays superb, take a listen to the album on the player above. This has been recorded directly from the vinyl with no 'touching up' or audio trickery. What you hear is what you get.
My own personal opinion of the grading would be EX for the cover and NEAR MINT for the vinyl.
Labels are free from any unwanted pen marks, names etc but are lightly discoloured (see pics).
Overall its a beautiful copy of an album that's getting harder and harder to find! Postage costs are below and please read all terms before bidding!
About Me
I've been a collector of psych/prog folk records for the past 20 years or so but feel I've come to a stage in my life when its time to sell up and move on. I hope to grade the albums as I would hope to find them. Over the next few months I will be listing some very desirable albums.
Postage Costs and Terms
More expensive items (ie with a finishing price of £41 and above will be sent via special delivery which will insure the item fully against loss or damage.
UK (1st class) - £4.00
Europe (Airmail) - £6.00
Elsewhere (Airmail) - £8.00
Expensive albums will be posted with insurance and charge accordingly. I will not use Surface Mail due to the risk of loss.
Multiple buys will reduce the postal cost: Postal price includes high quality packing materials.
Within UK - Basic £4.00 postage for 1 LP and then an additonal £1.20 for each extra LP.
Within Europe - Basic £6.00 postage for 1 LP and then an additonal £1.50 for each extra LP.
Elsewhere - Basic £8.50 postage for 1 LP and then an additonal £2.00 for each extra LP.
Gradings, returns etc - Vinyl is visually graded as carefully as possible although, as grading is subjectional, I must point out that these are my own personal opinions of the grading, which, I personally, would be happy with as a buyer (and I've been a collector for the past 20 years or so). Therefore, all gradings are approximate. If I've played the album, I'll describe it as best I can in the listing. If you are unhappy with the album and decide you simply cannot keep it, I will offer a full refund when the buyer has returned the item at their cost and the item is recieved in the condition that it left here. No partial refunds will be given.
PLEASE NOTE - Any postal prices given in the listings refer to UK costs only!
I Prefer Paypal (no charge), but cheques and PO's are perfectly acceptable.
E-checks - if you do not have sufficient funds in paypal an E-check is automatically issued which take an average of 7 days to clear. Goods will not be posted until the E-check has cleared.
