Description

Heavy Metal Holocaust Triple LP. (Fan Club Records France 1980) Recorded Live in 1980 at the (Castle) Donnington / Monsters of Rock Festival in England, this is an Incredible and Extremely Rare document of some of the finest bands in Metal, Ever, at the peak of their abilities with their "classic" line-up's. The guitar playing on the Ozzy set is absolutely unbelieveable. Young and on His first major U.K. tour and playing with something to prove, Randy Rhoads is on F%#$ing FIRE. Blowing DOORS on the soloing on "Tribute" which sounds restrained in comparison. Saxon never sounded better live. Scorpions had just finished and released "Love Drive" and Michael Schenker is playing lead guitar with them here and this could be the only live recording of Michael Schenker playing in Scorpions from this era. It has Motorhead KILLING with Fast Eddie and Philthy, Black Sabbath on one of their first Heaven and Hell Tour shows in the U.K. and Iron Maiden still with Paul Di'anno on vocals and what must be one of His final performances with them. Vinyl and cover are in Excellent condition. A Must-Have for the SERIOUS Metal collector!
