Hi All,
I am culling from my own personal 45's collection and will be offering many obscure gems including garage, psych, mod, beat and other great sounds on 7-inch vinyl. Collectors please bid with confidence as I have been selling records on ebay for over 5 years under the name Mister_goodstuff and have been dealing and collecting wax for over 20! TUNE-KEL 602 HECTOR & THE EASTMEN "WOBBLE LOU"/"SWITCH ME". The record is a beauty and grades at NEAR MINT (NM.) WOW!! WHAT A GREAT RECORD--I HATE TO SELL IT. A-side is a great funky dance record with a Tex-Mex flavor featuring a neat little organ--during the break the singer says "Amigos wobble lou is muy muy bueno". The B-side ("SWITCH ME") is a hidden gem of an RnB instrumental as you are likely to find! Very tuff sounding with guitar similar to James Burton on Susie-Q. A tight and great little, funky, mod dancer. In case you don't know it, this is the same band that did "Pass the Hatchet"--Yep! Roger and The Gypsies. Tune-Kel was a subsid. of Instant along with Seven-B and Busy Bee. OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS I WILL BE LOADING EBAY WITH BLUES, SOUL, R&B, DOOWOP, ROCKABILLY, AND JAZZ
Condition: VINYL: NM 7. Both sides have uniform, FULL GLOSS and this appears to be a largely unplayed record. Under the brightest light you can see paper traces. PLAYS LIKE NEW.
LABEL: NM 5: There is tiny color chip above the title "Wobblelou" and the flip side label is fore-shortened at top (SEE PHOTO) which is a factory flaw. Else clean, bright LIKE NEW labels.
MINT (this term is rarely used by serious dealers, especially when it comes to grading vintage 45s) : A PERFECT, UNPLAYED, NEVER HANDLED RECORD.
NEAR MINT (NM): A RECORD THAT LOOKS MINT, BUT HAS SMALL FLAWS ASSOCIATED WITH BEING STORED IN A SLEEVE AND EXAMINED. FULL GLOSS WILL BE PRESENT AND NONE OF ITS FEW MINOR FLAWS WILL AFFECT ITS PLAY. A SUFFIX NUMBER WITH THIS GRADE SUGGESTS HOW CLOSE IT IS TO THE HIGHEST NEAR MINT STATE WITH 9 BEING THE HIGHEST.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): RECORD HAS BEEN HANDLED AND PLAYED INFREQUENTLY OR VERY CAREFULLY, THIS COULD MEAN THAT THERE ARE LIGHT PAPER SCUFFS, OR SLIGHT SCRATCHES THAT WILL NOT EFFECT THE PLAY SOMETIMES REFERRED TO AS EXCELLENT (EX)
VERY GOOD (VG): THE RECORD COULD SHOW SIGNS OF HANDLING AND PLAYING, SUCH AS LOSS OF VINYL LUSTRE, LIGHT SURFACE SCRATCHES, GROOVE WEAR AND SPINDLE TRAILS FROM COUNTLESS SPINS ON THE TURNTABLE. THE RECORD MAY HAVE SOME AUDIBLE SURFACE NOISE WHEN PLAYED, ALTHOUGH ANY SUCH NOISE SHOULD NOT OVERWHELM THE MUSIC.
GOOD (G): GOOD SHOULD MEAN THE RECORD IS WELL-PLAYED WITH ANY NUMBER OF DEFECTS SUCH AS COMPLETE LOSS OF SURFACE SHEEN, AGGRAVATING SURFACE NOISE ETC. BUT CAN STILL BE PLAYED WITHOUT SKIPPING
