Helen Merrill EMARCY MG36006 "Helen Merrill". Original USA MONO DG EX.
One of the best vocal jazz LPs recorded. Super audiophile sound, super tracks, super performance by amongst others Clark Terry, Oscar Pettiford and Joe Jones and of cource, the voice. Soo cool and sensual.
COVER: EX original thick, laminated frame cover in great condition. Seams intact, just a little wear on the spine. The lamination shines but the white looks a little brownish on the edges. Please make use of the zoom feature provided to see a magnified view. With grading being a subjective matter pictures are an objective way to evaluate for yourself.
RECORD:
Play Grade: EX - superb, clear and precise audio with just the faintest background noise and I mean faint. Nothing you should hear in glorious MONO, if you have that set up on your audiophile equipment . NO clicks, NO skips.
Visually the LP is EX.
Play-graded on Linn LP12 with Akiva and Ekos. Superb high fidelity sound.
Original inner sleeve is split in bottom.
