Description

Originally released in 1989 and only available on bare bones vinyl in Europe at the time, The CRYPT is proud to release one of my personal all time favorite albums - HELSTAR's (US) "Nosferatu!" Helstar was one of America's better kept heavy metal secrets throughout the 1980s. Formed in Houston, TX, in 1982, by vocalist James Rivera and guitarist Larry Barragan, Helstar was soon making waves in underground tape-trading networks with their very first demo. Helstar relocated to Los Angeles and signed with Metal Blade. "Nosferatu" is arguably Helstar?s best album. Conceptually, the first half of the album draws upon the vampiric themes associated with the novel Dracula by Bram Stoker. We offer this amazing gem of classic Speed / Thrash metal as a beautiful gatefold LP with original artwork, lyrics and new liner not's by founding members lead vocalist James Rivera, guitarist Larry Barragan as well as Metal Forces magazine founder / Editor Bernard Doe.

Note: All records are new. Items may have been opened to verify color of the vinyl, or in some cases new copies were never produced sealed. If a record is sealed it will be noted “SEALED” in the title, otherwise assume it is opened to verify color or sealed copies were never made. 

Vinyl does not come in shrink wrap but it is new. Comes with a poly bag. 

All records are shipped in record-specific boxes with bubble wrap.
