About This Record. This is another really cool LP from the U.K., awesome Prog by Henry Cow on the colored Two Virgins Virgin Label V2024 housed in a gatefold sleeve from 1975. Nice copy! Tough and necessary for your prog collection! Complete UK even with rare inner sleeve. I bought this about 30 years ago and have kept it since puchase in a plastic sleeve. The interest I thought I might have one day in this type of music has never panned out, so, here goes my Henry Cow collection of carefully preserved LPs! Happy hunting! Cover Condition. EX- Gatefold cover has overall light wear, but intact spine and seams that also show light wear, but more wear near the corners.
Vinyl Condition. Nice Near Mint minus copy; some fingerprints do not detract from play. Yes, I cleaned this on my VPI but not with alcohol based solution that might be able to remove the fingerprints but, . . . why risk vinyl damage. Keeper copy!
Label Condition. Near Mint. A spindle mark on each side if you look closely, showing a couple of the few times this has been played.
Inner Sleeve. The original special paper red inner sleeve is included that has the early 1970's Virgin Records Logo (see photos), although this record will come housed in white paper sleeve because I just cleaned it and played it and if you stick it back into the old sleeve, the old dust attacks the vinyl with even more gusto! I wrote my name and a date on one side of the red inner sleeve; sorry.
About Me. I have been a Record Collector for over 35 years. With a "child" still in college, I often sell records so I can buy more vinyl! Read my Feedback! Common LPs are a waste of your time and mine! I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept in well preserved. This comes in a new rice paper equivalent sleeve, and new 3 or 4 mil plastic sleeve.
