1996 release on Reservoir Records.

This is the highly influential and collectible album by Hijack - The terrorist group. It's doubtful in this day and age that you would get away with such a name or the cover for their 1st album. If you are reading you already know what this Rhyme Syndicate outfit were about. This double vinyl is sought after by turntablists and old school heads for it's unreleased tunes, instrumentals and remixes of the original album. The original album is all here but expanded upon greatly.
Dj Qbert rates Dj Supreme as a massive influence and a pioneer of turntablist art. The MC K-Sly bought intelligence, artillery and an ideology that stood Hijack at the front of not only the UK hip hop movement but globally they were the group to look out for . The mantra was 'Money doesn't matter it's the principle. That makes us invincible'. If these boys can't be bought you know they mean business. Ice-T thought so too and signed them to Rhyme Syndicate records. The rest is history. The fall out between Hijack and former label Music of life and then the Warners delayed release of Jericho saw them return to Music of Life to remix their Style Wars 12" (Style Warriors Revenge). This kept momentum up while Warners slept on an album that if released when intended would have had the same aftershock that albums like Nevermind and Blue Lines had across the musical spectrum. Jericho definitely changed the hip hop scenery for the better on release never the less. Crews listened and knew the bar had been raised. Across the water, MC's and future legend DJ's knew this was a cut above. I've seen this double vinyl change hands for £200 in sealed mint condition. That goes to show how fanatic their fanbase still is. The vinyl comes as pictured in paper sleeves and a black card outer jacket. Tracklisting
