Description

Hilton Valentine was the original guitarist in The Animals, and played the iconic guitar arpeggio on "House of the Rising Sun."  When the first lineup of the band broke up, Hilton moved to California, where he made an underrated solo album for Capitol called "All in Your Head."  The album contained the title track (written by Hilton) which was also demoed for a female voice, which is what we have here.  Clearly the publisher thought the song had potential, but I'm fairly certain no one but Hilton ever recorded it for release.  This is the UNRELEASED FEMALE VOCAL DEMO, NOT Hilton or The Animals, but a fascinating sidebar for fans of Hilton, The Animals, or pop and rock of the 1960's in general.  The 10" 45 rpm acetate is in VG shape, with light storage marks typical of vintage acetates.  Anybody know who the demo singer is?
