Hiroshi Sato's masterpiece album "Awakening" has been reissued for the fourth time in a new color "Pastel Blue Vinyl".
Bernie Grundman, a world-famous engineer, performs the cutting based on high-spec sound source data that has been digitally converted to 96KHz/24bit from the original master tape. This will be a press release at Sony Music's domestic factory.
This work is Hiroshi Sato's fourth original album, released in June 1982 after his music career in Los Angeles, and the first to be transferred to Alpha Records. This mellow and soulful album, featuring Canadian female vocalist Wendy Matthews, and the introduction of the most advanced drum machine at the time, the Lindrum, was a perfect fusion of Hiroshi Sato's high-quality sound sense and the atmosphere of the American West Coast.It can be said to be a timeless masterpiece that shines in the history of Japanese pop, transcending generations and still influencing countless musicians today. Guitarists Tatsuro Yamashita, Tsunehide Matsuki, and Yuji Toriyama will be participating as guests! Completely limited edition.
