Extraordinary 1959 British jazz album on Tempo which is a genuine 'holy grail' for jazz collectors.
Featuring the sublime piano of Eddie Thompson, backed by the excellent Arthur Watts on bass and Andy White on drums, this LP was pressed in a minimal quantity and so copies are almost impossible to find. I could only find a handful of copies discovered and sold in the last 20 years.
The great news is this copy is in truly excellent shape - the vinyl is glossy and flat, and apart from a couple of hairlines, has no significant marks at all. I doubt it's been played more than half a dozen times.
The labels are also excellent.
The flipback laminated sleeve is also in excellent shape - no writing, tears or damage at all - just one or two minor spine creases and a little corner wear.
It has been really well looked after and comes with the original thick paper lined inner sleeve.
You really won't be disappointed with this superb copy. It's a brilliant and highly sought after album.
