Description

Parlophone UK import copy of The Hollies "Butterfly" LP Parlophone PCS7039; this record was only released in the UK under this title--it was called "Dear Eloise/King Midas in Reverse" in the US and had different track listings; this is also the last Hollies album to include Graham Nash who left shortly thereafter to form Crosby Still & Nash.  It is widely considered to be their creative masterpiece. 

This record is from my personal collection and I purchased it in 1967; the jacket is in EX+ condition with very mild ringwear present on the front cover above "Hollies" and at the bottom between the butterfly wings (see attached photos); there are no tears, rips or seam splits.  The LP is in the original EMI paper sleeve and is in "NM-EX+" condition having been played only a few times; there are no marks or scratches on it.  I use the Goldmine grading system below:

Vinyl grading is based on the Goldmine standard as follows:

“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.

“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.

“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.

EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.

EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.

VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
