Holy Grail! Northern Soul Acetate! The Exceptions – The Look In Their Eyes / Baby, You Know I Need You - Impact Sound Acetate – VG++ / Near Mint

In 1966, The Exceptions recorded two songs for a possible 45 for the P & L Record label in Philadelphia. About 6 or 7 acetates were made on Impact Sound and one on a Virtue acetate, and the two songs were never released as a 45 until a year or two later when the songs were re-recorded for the Groovy Grooves label.  The acetate versions ended up on the CD  “Phllly Soul Volume One.” Both songs can be heard on You Tube: (The Look In Their Eyes) https://youtu.be/InkKHo00Xe0 (Baby, You Know I Need You) https://youtu.be/3Xk_8zCB9-0
