Description
Both labels have New York USA address; 43 West 61st St. address at the bottom of the back cover. Mono. Both sides of the record have the "ear" and "RVG" inscribed in the dead wax. 8 tracks with leader, Horace Parlan, piano; George Tucker, bass; Al Harewood, drums; Ray Barretto, conga.
Cover: VG Intact and clean. Wear on the bottom corner of the insert edge. Small, 1" crease line near the upper insert edge corner. The back cover shows light wear, light aging and some soil from ordinary handling and storage. The front cover shows only minor wear along the insert edge.
Record: VG Visually shows light wear with 6 or 7 light surface rub marks on both sides. Also, a few tiny surface discoloration spots. There is surface noise. Side 1, Track 1, 3 light clicks on the first 3 or 4 revolutions. 1 light click towards the end of the Track with faint groove noise on the last revolution. Track 2, 1 light click towards the end of the track followed by several faint crackles and 2 or 3 light clicks. Track 3 is similar. Track 4, 1 click near the beginning of the Track followed by 2 or 3 isolated revolutions of faint groove noise. Side 2, Track 1, light groove noise on the first 3 or 4 revolutions with 1 or 2 faint clicks on the last revolution on the Track. Track 2, faint groove noise persists throughout the entire Track with a few isolated light clicks. Track 3 has light groove noise through the first 1/2 of the Track with 3 or 4 clicks on the balance of the Track. Track 4, 1 click at the end of the Track. There is considerable noise though the appearance of the record is relatively clean. Audibly checked.
