Description

HORACE PARLAN HEADIN' SOUTH
Original Blue Note 4062 RVG ear, Horace Parlan Headin' South vinyl lp.

Most of this lp plays Excellent with the odd low output crackle and pop here and there, no distortion to any instruments throughout this album.

There are two tracks that have some problems although there are no jumps or skips.

This album has been tested with two cartridges (ortofon om30 at 1 gram and a mc30 at 2 grams) with some very revealing stand mount speakers. Same results with both cartridges.

Side 1: track 3
Side one track 3 this has a long scratch that is audible near the beginning with about 22 medium pops see picture (6) and about 4 distracting scrapes at the end of the track see picture (7). The long scratch does not sound in the last track thankfully.

Side 2: Track 2 has about 30 distracting scrapes see picture 8 and 9. picture 9 is of the same scratch as 8 but at a different angle. The instruments of Horace and co still power through these scratches.
Apart from these imperfections the rest of the vinyl is ex condition.

The cover is in vg+ condition a few scuffs and a small split see picture (3) the inner sleeve has some tape on two edges.

This is still a very rare sought after record.

This will be packed in a record mailer and sent first class recorded post.

IF NOT IN THE UK PLEASE ASK FOR A FAIR POST PRICE BEFORE BIDDING, THANKS.
